Woman charged after footy fight

A football fan who allegedly attacked two police officers at a Canberra Raiders game will face court next month.

The 19-year-old woman was arrested after police allege she assaulted two officers during the game's second half on Friday night.

An off-duty police officer tried to break up a fight in the crowd and when uniformed officers arrived, police say the woman spat, punched and kicked at them.

She will appear in court on July 4 on four charges of common assault.

Nearly 11,000 fans watched the Raiders lose to the Canterbury Bulldogs 14-22.
