Woman allegedly slashed with broken bottle in domestic violence attack
A Sydney woman sustained "multiple injuries to her throat" after she was slashed with a broken bottle in an alleged domestic violence attack in the city's west yesterday.
Police were called to Carlisle Avenue in Hebersham about 3.15pm after receiving reports of a domestic violence-related assault.
Upon arrival, officers found the injured 34-year-old woman in the street and immediately began first aid.

The woman was transported to Westmead Hospital after NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived.
She's reportedly in a stable condition now.

A man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with wounding with intent to murder, resisting arrest, and breach of bail.
The man has been refused bail and is due to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court today.
