A woman has been charged with high-range drink driving after she allegedly blew four times the legal blood alcohol limit in southern Sydney overnight.

Police allegedly noticed the 44-year-old's car travelling slowly and swerving to the left and right on Bexley's Queen Victoria Street about 12.30am (AEDT), the NSW Police Force said in a statement.

Officers pulled the vehicle over and breathalysed the woman, before taking her to Kogarah Police Station where a breath analysis allegedly provided a reading of 0.268.
