Woman allegedly 'blows 0.308' with kids in car
A woman has been accused of high-range drink-driving with two children in the car in western Sydney this morning.
Police were called to O’Connell Street, Kingswood, after reports the woman was allegedly driving a Volkswagen Golf dangerously.
After being pulled over, the 31-year-old was asked to do a breath test and allegedly struck an officer on the arm.
She was taken to Penrith Police Station and returned a reading of 0.308, police said.
Her licence has since been suspended, and she has been charged with high-range PCA (Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol) and assault police officer in execution of their duty.
She was given conditional bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on May 22.
The two children in the car, aged four and six, were picked up by a family member.
