Wilson wants company, income tax the same

Newly-chosen federal Liberal candidate Tim Wilson wants the top tax rate for Australians and companies to be the same.
"I've never understood why we tax people more than companies," the former human rights commissioner, who narrowly won a preselection contest for the Victorian seat of Goldstein, told ABC radio on Monday.
Mr Wilson warned the country wastes so much money on accountants and lawyers as people set up company structures and trusts to minimise the amount of tax they pay.
