Wiggles announce show with new format

The Wiggles have announced their pre-Christmas tour, with a difference.

This year, the show will be split in two: the first half of the concert will be classic Wiggles songs while the second will be a fairytale pantomime, CinderEmma.

"I don't want to spoil too much of the surprise but I can say that it's a new fairy-tale pantomime - Wigglified of course - with a really fun story and lots of singing and laughs, that both children and adults will enjoy," Blue Wiggle Anthony said.

The name suggests that the pantomime will showcase the Yellow Wiggle whose own solo TV show, Emma!, recently started on ABC Kids. She will also be embarking on her own solo live shows in Sydney in August.

The group will perform a ten-date arena tour in Australia following a run of dates across the US, Canada and New Zealand.

Local children from each city will get the chance to appear as dancers on stage for the first time with the group.
