An orange-wigged thief and his accomplice are wanted over a lightning fast robbery at a Melbourne jewellery store.
The duo burst through the door and stole $50,000 of Versace watches from the Little Collins Street store on July 22.
One of the men, wearing an orange wig and dark rimmed glasses, approached the counter and used a hammer to smash the glass cabinet.
The second man, who was armed with a knife, stood at the door and held it open for a quick exit.
He was wearing a dark beanie pulled low over his forehead.
The heist took five seconds.
Investigators believe the men got into a silver 1997-2003 BMW 530i sedan or a 525i series with a sports package.
