What is Indonesia's Pancasila?

INDONESIA'S PANCASILA EXPLAINED...

It's the philosophical foundation of Indonesia as a state, formulated by founding father Sukarno, who went on to be the country's first president.

It has five principles:

* Belief in the one and only God

* Just and civilised humanity

* Unity of Indonesia

* Democracy guided by the inner wisdom in the unanimity arising out of deliberations amongst representatives

* Social justice for all the people of Indonesia.
