Westpac and St George online banking restored after second day of outages
Millions of customers with Westpac and St George banks have been hit with an online banking outage for the second day in a row.
Both banks said they were aware of customers having issues accessing online and mobile banking at 2.15pm today.
At 4pm, Westpac, which owns St George, said: "Our online and mobile banking services have now been restored."

"We apologise for the disruption this afternoon and thank you for your patience during this time," Westpac said in a statement on X.
The outage comes after the banks experienced a similar outage about the same time yesterday.
Yesterday's outage began at 1.40pm and was not resolved until 3.15pm.
Some customers on social media noted they could not log onto the app or online banking via desktop.
