Man charged after woman allegedly stabbed outside Melbourne shopping centre
A man has been charged after a stabbing outside a shopping centre in Melbourne's south-east last night.
Police believe a man allegedly stabbed a woman with an "edged weapon" near a bus stop outside the Westfield Fountain Gate in Narre Warren just after 5pm.
The 35-year-old woman was treated by paramedics and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police searched the area for the man and he was arrested shortly after.
A 34-year-old Croydon man was charged with intentionally causing injury, possessing a controlled weapon and theft.
He will appear at Dandenong Magistrates' Court today.
