Western Australian police appeal for help to find missing grandfather

Western Australian Police have issued a plea to help find a missing grandfather.

John Irvine, 67, who suffers dementia, was last seen at his Northam home - west of Perth - yesterday morning.

Police say Mr Irvine is driving an electric blue 2018 model Toyota Corolla hatchback, registration number 1GPE156.

He is approximately 165cm tall, with white hair, green eyes and speaks with a strong Scottish accent.

Mr Irvine may have been wearing either dark drill pants, a polo shirt and joggers or black tracksuit pants and a blue-black T-shirt.

His family is concerned for his welfare as he may have become disorientated and forgotten how to get home.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police on 131 444.
