'Significant' delays after truck fire on Melbourne's West Gate Freeway
A truck fire on a busy freeway in Melbourne has caused traffic chaos this afternoon, with drivers warned to expect major delays.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 3.10pm to find the truck fully ablaze.
A member of the public is believed to be injured after a piece of shrapnel exploded from the truck while on fire.

Major delays are expected on the freeway. Nine
All outbound lanes of the West Gate Freeway are currently blocked near the Bolte Bridge.
The Department of Transport confirmed heavy delays are stretching back onto the Monash Freeway citybound.
Drivers should consider exiting the Monash Freeway early and taking Dandenong Road, Queens Road and Kings Way.

Those travelling from the south-eastern suburbs towards the airport should consider exiting before the Domain Tunnel and detouring north of the CBD.
Motorists heading towards the western suburbs can detour via South Melbourne and Southbank, then use the entry from Todd Road to reach the West Gate Bridge.
Commuters leaving the CBD should use Footscray Road or Dynon Road, then reach the West Gate Freeway from the Bolte Bridge, or via Footscray.
