West Australians to access world revolutionary surgery technology
Elizabeth Creasy
West Australians will now have access to some of the world's most revolutionary surgery technology.
The $20 million operating theatres at Hollywood Hospital, will make common surgeries quicker and safer for patients, by slashing surgery times during delicate operations.
The high definition cameras allow surgeons to better distinguish between ligaments, muscles, tissues and other minute structures in the body when operating.

The technology has four times the resolution currently used in most theatres in Australia.
The expansion will see an extra 3000 surgeries performed here every year.
This now makes Hollywood one of the largest private hospitals in the country.
