Pregnant woman charged over links to alleged murder
A pregnant woman has been charged in relation to the alleged murder of a Newcastle man.
Wesley Prentice died after being found with gunshots wounds to the chest at a unit on Darby Street in Cooks Hill in July.
A 35-year-old Charlestown woman was arrested on Maude Street in Belmont yesterday.

She was taken to Belmont Police Station and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
The woman is the fourth to be charged in relation to the alleged murder.
In August, a 35-year-old man was also arrested near a caravan park at Bonny Hills – near Port Macquarie.
During a search of the caravan, officers allege they found a loaded firearm and cash, which were seized for examination.
The man was taken to Port Macquarie Police Station and charged with murder.
Another man and a woman - who were seen leaving the unit on the day of Mr Prentice's death - were also charged over their alleged roles.
That trio remain before the courts.

The 35-year-old woman has been refused bail and is due to appear at Belmont Local Court via video link today.
