Man charged after woman allegedly suffers critical burns in Melbourne front yard
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman allegedly suffered critical burns in the front yard of a home in Melbourne's west.
The 32-year-old woman is fighting for her life after the alleged incident in Werribee South about 2am yesterday.

A 43-year-old Werribee South man has since been charged with attempted murder, conduct endangering life, intentionally cause serious injury and recklessly causing serious injury and will face court today.
A 45-year-old Werribee South woman has been released after helping police with the investigation.

The woman was found in outside her home on Rivercoast Road in Werribee South about 2am. Nine
A nearby neighbour said he was woken up yesterday by the police lights in the early hours of the morning.
"I woke up 2am and I went outside and police lights and commotion going on," he told 9News.
"Generally it is quiet. I wouldn't expect something like this down here, to be honest."
