Welfare reforms to face the Senate
AAP
Disability support pensioners under 35 could have their ability to work reassessed under welfare changes to face the Senate.
The federal government's proposed measures also include changing Family Tax Benefit A so that only those earning up to $100,000 will be eligible.
The policy changes have Labor's support and have already cleared the House of Representatives.

Other aspects of the federal government's welfare reforms have proved more controversial and still face stiff opposition in the upper house.
