Weekend Today apologises for 'beeping' Scott Morrison's pre-Budget interview
Nine’s Weekend Today has apologised for accidentally bleeping out federal treasurer Scott Morrison during a pre-Budget interview.
Mr Morrison was speaking live to 9NEWS political editor Laurie Oakes today about the forthcoming budget when he was interrupted by a loud tone.

He was discussing the political climate within the liberal party when the tone sounded.
“Politics is not the issue,” Mr Morrison told Oakes.
“What we’re focused on is supporting the schooling needs of every child in the country and making it fair,” he said, but the word “focused” was obscured by the bleep.
The glitch was an in-studio audio error, Weekend Today said in a statement.
“A tone button generator was accidentally triggered when trying to adjust audio levels.”
Weekend Today has apologised to Mr Morrison.
