Sydney hit by a month of rain in two days, with deluge to continue
Sydney has had nearly a months worth of rain in just two days.
Coastal areas were the worst hit by the deluge, with the northern beaches getting the most.
Mona Vale Golf Course experienced flooding, while in nearby Narabeen a driver spun out of control on the wet roads. The state's biggest total was at Gosford on the Central Coast, with 114mm.

Meanwhile a winterly blast saw hail fall on Coffs Harbour, creating wintery scenes.
Umina on the Central Coast had roads turn into rivers.
A total of 92mm fell over 24 hours St Ives, with 90mm measured at Avalon.
Meanwhile, West Pennant Hills saw 39mm.
