Severe thunderstorm causes backwards waterfall off cliffs in Sydney's south
The severe weather hitting Sydney and Wollongong has created a backwards waterfall along cliffs at the Royal National Park.
Strong winds are pushing the water, which would normally fall down the cliff, back onto land at Wattamolla Falls.
The falls are a popular tourist lookout, just south of Cronulla.

It comes as streets are underwater, and a school has been evacuated in a "very dangerous" thunderstorm this afternoon.
The torrential and sudden rain has caused major road closures on the South Coast as the key highway connecting Wollongong to Sydney is cut off by floodwaters.
