A front and trough will produce gusty showers for parts of Australia on Sunday.

Victoria, Tasmania, southeast South Australia and southern New South Wales are all expected to experience cold temperatures and rain.

A high will direct moist, onshore winds, bringing light showers to the Queensland coast.

Onshore winds should also bring showers to southwest Western Australia.

Weather conditions will be clear and settled elsewhere under high pressure.

Sydney is predicted to experience a top of 17C on Sunday, while Melbourne will be slightly cooler with a top of 15C on Sunday.

Warmer temperatures are expected in Darwin and Brisbane with a high of 32C and 21C degrees respectively.

Perth residents will experience a top of 17C on Sunday, while Adelaide could reach a high of 15C.

Temperatures are predicted to reach a top of 13C degrees in both Canberra and Hobart.
