We're 'world-leading' on counter-terrorism

Australia's response to tackling radicalisation is world-leading, the federal government says.

Justice Minister Michael Keenan, who's been in New York for talks on tackling violent extremism, says there's a lot of interest from US authorities about strategies at home.

"What we've done on the law enforcement side and the community side does lead the world," he told ABC radio on Wednesday.
