A millionaire couple in the UK have blamed their middle-age raver lifestyle for keeping their celebrity neighbours awake with late-night partying.

Jeremy Morris and wife Erin have admitted their parties may have gotten “out of control” after six noise complaints were issued to Camden council against the couple in the last 12 months, the London Evening Standard reports.

The pair, who owns a luxury jewellery brand, defended their actions by claiming they were merely “middle-aged ravers” who were too old to go clubbing.

Police have been called on two occasions to the couple’s home in the posh area of Primrose Hill.

“We are middle-aged so it’s nicer to have people back here than go out to a club,” Mrs Morris told the paper.

“And what’s the point of having a great house if you can’t invite your friends back?

“We have a really big family and we have lots of friends and maybe had too many glasses of wine and didn’t realise the level of the bass.

“I think it was a case of middle-aged ravers getting out of control.”

However she admitted things would change, with the couple installing “bass buffers” in the basement to “mask the sound”.

A number of the couple’s neighbours, who include Dolce & Gabbana co-founder Stefano Gabbana, TV presenter Matthew Wright and author Linda Seward, have been forced to wear ear plugs and take sleeping pills to block out the noise.
