Disturbing CCTV of burglary while residents asleep upstairs

Disturbing CCTV footage shows two burglars rummaging through an occupied home in Melbourne’s south-east.

The men can be seen using the torch function on their phones to raid the downstairs area of the residence.

Detectives believe the pair entered the Honey Avenue property in Wantirna South about 11pm on December 10 while the occupants were asleep upstairs.

The offenders stole a purse, car keys and the victims 2014 red Honda Jazz.

No-one was physically injured during the incident.

The males are described as being Caucasian, aged approximately 18 years old with slim builds.
