Driver freed after Victoria truck crash
A driver has been freed after he was trapped in the wreckage of a truck crash on a major highway north of Melbourne.
A truck and a semi-trailer were travelling on the Hume Freeway, Wallan, when they collided around 7am today.

Paramedics, four fire units, police and SES crews were called in to free one of the drivers from the wreckage.
A man, aged in his 30s, has been freed from the wreckage with serious injuries.
He has been airlifted to hospital in Melbourne.
All northbound lanes are closed on the freeway and traffic is being diverted onto the Northern Highway at Wallan, through to Kilmore and Broadford.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible.
