Young man in induced coma following alleged assault

A young man has been left fighting for life with severe head injuries after a violent night in Perth.

The 29-year-old man was put in an induced coma at Royal Perth Hospital following the alleged assault in Joondalup last night.

He remains in a critical condition.

Police have since charged a 28-year-old man with causing bodily harm.

He’s due to front court tomorrow.

Police had also arrested a woman at the home but she’s since been released without charge.
