Women charged over Perth airport drug bust

Two dual Australian-Sierra Leone nationals face life imprisonment after the abnormal lining in their suitcases allegedly led officers to discover nine kilograms of methamphetamine in their luggage.
Authorities say the two women, aged 20 and 28, arrived in Perth from Qatar on Sunday night when they were selected for baggage inspection.
The women were charged with importing a commercial quantity of a border controlled drug and faced Perth Magistrates Court on Monday.
