Westfield redevelopment for new biggest shopping centre in the state
Westfield Carousel will become the biggest shopping centre in WA when it opens later this year.
The $350-million redevelopment is about 70% complete and features a brand new dining and entertainment space designed to reinvent the shopping experience for customers.
Today 9 News had a look at what the shopping centre will look like.
60 new shops will be added to the already 330 retailers at Carousel, including a new David Jones.
An open air leisure precinct is being build and the 14 screen Hoyts Cinema will be fully refurbished.
12 new restaurants will be included in the shopping centre.
Over 700 new car parking spaces have already been opened.
The development will bring 4,800 jobs to the area during construction and in retail once completed.
