Western Power funds $83m for Perth TAFEs
AAP
Three new TAFE facilities would be built across Perth using $83.4 million from the partial sale of Western Power if the Liberal party is re-elected at the West Australian state election.
Deputy premier Liza Harvey said 900 jobs would be created in order to construct new training centres at Peel and Murdoch TAFE campuses, and a new campus for Armadale TAFE.
"The partial sale of Western Power will allow us to bring older TAFEs up to 21st century standards and stimulate the economy," she said.
