WA woman charged with attempted murder

A 36-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was left in a critical condition following an alleged family violence incident at a house in Western Australia's north.
Police said they attended the Broome home just after 3am on Monday and found a 67-year-old man bleeding heavily.

The woman, who was charged on Tuesday, has appeared in Broome Magistrates Court and will face court in Perth on August 8.
