WA ups affordable housing pledge
AAP
The target for new affordable homes in Western Australia has been raised after the previous pledge was met ahead of time.
The state government announced on Tuesday that its 2010 aim of building 20,000 new properties for people on low-to-moderate incomes within a decade has already been met.
The new goal is to build an additional 10,000 affordable homes by 2020.
