WA teacher faces more child sex charges

A female teacher already accused of sexually abusing a student has now also been charged with possessing child exploitation material.

The 26-year-old woman was charged last month with 23 sexual offences committed against a 15-year-old girl between July last year and May, including sexual penetration and indecent dealing with a child.

Police said on Tuesday that during a search of her Forrestfield home hundreds of child exploitation images and videos, allegedly recorded during the same period as the other offending, were found on electronic devices.
