WA state budget at a glance

* Budget surplus for 2019/20 forecast at $1.53 billion rising to $2.6 billion in 2020/21
* Economic growth forecast to be 3.5 per cent in 2019/20 and at least three per cent across the forward estimates
* Employment growth set at 1.75 per cent in 2019/20 rising to 2.25 per cent by 2022/23

* Net state debt to peak at $39.5 billion in 2019/20 before falling to $37.8 billion by 2022/23
* Ratings agency Moody's says the budget outlook is positive and Standard & Poor's has maintained WA's AA+ credit rating.
