A 63-year-old man has been charged with child sex abuse offences allegedly committed when he was a volunteer at a Perth school more than a decade ago.
Police say the Karrinyup man was a volunteer at Lake Gwelup Primary School between 2005 and 2006 when he sexually assaulted an eight-year-old girl during school hours.
Detectives searched his home, where they seized computers and electronic storage devices, and he has been charged with three counts of indecent dealing with a child and one count each of possessing child exploitation material and drug paraphernalia.
