WA's top cop dismisses selection fuss

New WA Police Commissioner Chris Dawson does not believe his appointment has been tainted by claims of political interference in the selection process.
Retired commissioner Karl O'Callaghan has repeatedly expressed concern about public perception of the process but the Labor government has denied any interference.
Mr Dawson said on Thursday that questions about the process should be put to others, not him.

"I've really got no role or purpose to respond to what other people make judgment calls on," he told 6PR radio.
