WA racetrack bans motorbikes after deaths
AAP
Motorcycle riding at Barbagallo Raceway in Perth has been suspended indefinitely following a damning report on the safety of the track and deaths at the venue.
The death of 22-year-old Chris Adley at the weekend was the sixth in 16 years.
The WA Department of Sport and Recreation received the results of an independent safety audit last week and wrote to the owners of the raceway on Wednesday, recommending motorcycle activity stop.

WA Sporting Car Club, which owns the racetrack, has informed motorcycle groups of its short-term decision to suspend the activity, telling AAP on Thursday it would eventually be lifted.
