Another ReachTel poll has found voters overwhelmingly opposed to the WA government's planned privatisation of electricity poles and wires operator Western Power.

The Electrical Trades Union and Australian Services Union-commissioned poll of 657 people in the Wanneroo electorate found more than 70 per cent against the planned asset sale.

About 1000 voters in the safe Liberal seat of Riverton, held by energy minister and treasurer Mike Nahan, were recently polled by ReachTel, with more than 62 per cent against the proposal.
