WA police investigate death of a baby

The death of a nine-month-old baby who died after being taken to hospital in Western Australia's Pilbara region is being investigated by police.
The injured baby was taken to Hedland Health Campus on Thursday before being flown to Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth, where the baby was later pronounced dead, WA Country Health Service told AAP on Tuesday.
Police are waiting for results from a post-mortem while the investigation continues.
