WA police chase driver in stolen Porsche
Officers in a helicopter directed a chase through Perth's south as a man driving an allegedly stolen Porsche tried to flee police.
WA police say the car was reported stolen on Monday from Mosman Park, and was spotted just after midnight on Wednesday in the Leda area.
A 26-year-old is accused of failing to stop the car when police asked him to, before fleeing and prompting a short chase.
About half an hour later the Porsche was seen in a nearby suburb, and police say the man again failed to stop.
A helicopter directed police cars on the ground as the man allegedly fled through four suburbs in Perth's south before being stopped on Rockingham Road.
He faces multiple charges including driving a stolen car and having no authority to drive, and will appear at Rockingham Magistrates Court on Thursday.
