WA officer charged with aggravated assault

A WA police officer has been charged with aggravated assault over an incident while on duty.
A police spokesman said the incident happened in June last year, and the 47-year-old sergeant from the Goldfields-Esperance district remains on duty.
He will face Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
