WA museum to exhibit ancient pearl
AAP
A 2000-year-old pearl, recently discovered in Western Australia's far north, will be displayed at an exhibition at Fremantle's Maritime Museum.
The pearl, found in the North Kimberley's Admiralty Gulf, is a highlight of Lustre: Pearling and Australia, which runs from June 20 to 25.
The exhibition is expected to provide visitors with an understanding of the pearling story from indigenous and non-indigenous perspectives.
