Meth 'warehouse' mum jailed for six years

A Vietnamese mother-of-four who breached a conditional suspended imprisonment order by running her ex-husband's Perth drug dealing business while he was in prison has herself been jailed for six years.

When police raided Thi Que Hien Nguyen's Middle Swan home in October 2015, they found 109.5 grams of methamphetamine, almost 2.7 kilograms of cannabis, more than $44,000 in cash, scales and clip seal bags.

That followed an earlier raid that uncovered 14.66 grams of methamphetamine and 28.6 grams of cocaine, which resulted in her husband being jailed for three-and-a-half years.

She was allowed to continue caring for their children at home under an 18-month conditional suspended imprisonment order, but was found with the much larger quantities of illegal drugs 10 months before it expired.

Judge Andrew Stavrianou told Nguyen in handing down his sentence on Friday that the judge in the previous matter had made it abundantly clear she was not to reoffend while subject to the conditional suspended imprisonment order.

"He made it very clear you must not commit any offence," Judge Stavrianou said.

The court heard Nguyen effectively allowed her home to be used as a "warehouse" for the drugs and her ex-husband's associates continued to visit.

"You were making your property available.

"Your conduct facilitated the distribution of deleterious substances within the community.

"In my view, six years is the appropriate disposition."

She will be eligible for parole after serving four years.
