WA mates wakeboard along waterlogged roadside
A group of mates in WA's Kimberly region have made the most of heavy rainfall in the area last week, wasting no time in firing up a quad bike to help with some roadside wakeboarding.
Lachy French, 20, told PerthNow he'd tested out the wakeboard on the deep puddles that collect on the edge of Gibb River Rd before, but never with much success.
But after some decent precipitation last week, Mr French said conditions were "perfect" – and made sure his GoPro was rolling to prove it.
Video posted to Facebook shows the young bloke carving along with ease, and even sipping from a tinny of Four-ex as he shreds up the swelling banks.
The footage of the exploit has garnered plenty of praise on line, and racked up several thousand views.
