AAP
A man accused of killing a 46-year-old woman in Western Australia's far north has had his murder charge downgraded to manslaughter.
Brendan Paul Edwards, 30, is alleged to have fatally assaulted the woman, who was known to him, at her Kununurra home in December last year.
Edwards was remanded in custody at Hakea Prison and is scheduled to appear in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court again in October.
