WA man jailed for meth possession

A Perth man who was caught with 27.81g of methamphetamine with a purity of about 66 per cent has been jailed for two years.

Shane Kenny, 35, was sentenced in the West Australian District Court on Thursday after pleading guilty to possessing methamphetamine with intent to sell or supply, and possessing money that was unlawfully obtained.

Kenny was also jailed for a further six months for breaching two suspended prison terms for traffic offences, making his total sentence a minimum of two-and-a-half years.
