WA man faces court over paramedic crash

A man charged over a crash that seriously injured a Perth paramedic has appeared in court.
The head-on crash between an ambulance and a ute happened just before 5am on October 10 in Oldbury, causing life-threatening injuries to 33-year-old father-of-three Wesley Ackerman.
His colleague Sharron Price, who was driving the ambulance, also suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the ute, 32-year-old Walter William Ten Haaf, appeared in Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm.
He was granted bail to appear back in court on December 9.
