WA man dies after truck crash

A 53-year-old man has died after the ute he was driving collided with a truck near Broomehill in the south of Western Australia.
A police spokeswoman said it was believed the ute veered into the path of the truck on Saturday evening, killing the Katanning local at the scene and leaving the 32-year-old truck driver with minor injuries.
The man's death takes the state's holiday toll to two and the national total to 34.
