WA man 'destroyed houses with cigarette'

A man has been charged with breaking into a West Perth house and setting it on fire with a lit cigarette.
He allegedly forced his way into the Cowle Street house on Sunday afternoon and started the blaze, which destroyed the home and the one next door.
The man, 52, will face Perth Magistrates Court on Monday charged with criminal damage by fire and burglary.
