WA man charged with murder after fight

A man has been charged with murdering a 40-year-old man and attempting to kill a 38-year-old woman during a fight south of Perth.

Police say the altercation occurred at a block of units on Valley Road in Halls Head about 2am on Saturday.

The 38-year-old alleged offender did not know the victims.
