Police say the 45-year-old accused and the victim knew each other and had a fight on Friday evening in Maylands, resulting in the victim being taken to hospital and dying on Monday.
The 45-year-old has been charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm and will face Perth Magistrates Court on April 19.
