WA man charged over online chats with girl

A Perth man has been charged after allegedly using social media to have sexual conversations with a young girl.
The 51-year-old man is accused of having online contact with the girl between October and November last year.
The man was charged with intent to expose a child to indecent matter following an investigation by the Western Australia Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team, which includes federal officers.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of five years' imprisonment.
He will face Armadale Magistrates Court on May 22.
